'Database test development' group (part of the database server group of Server Technologies Division) works on the upcoming releases of Oracle database server, enveloping a wide range of technologies that include (but not limited to) RDBMS,Oracle Clusterware, Grid Computing, Real Application Clusters (RAC),Storage Management, Backup/Recovery, Transaction
Management,Performance Tuning and High Availability, Information Life-Cycle Management(ILM), In-Memory Database(IMDB). The group with its state of the art development infrastructure and practices, helps shape technology that has been important for a large number of Fortune 2000 and other companies. The group foresees product usage scenarios, simulates real life problems, tests the forthcoming releases of Oracle database server and ensures that the customers get the highest quality database.
The opening is for an individual contributor position in Oracle Clusterware & RAC Database Test Development.
Who do we need?
---------------
= B.E/M.E/M.Tech. in Computer Science / MCA from a reputed university
= One to four years of industry experience
= Must be good in relational database fundamentals
= Must have worked with one or more of the commercial relational databases.
= Must have experience in development using PL/SQL or C or Java = Knowledge of a scripting language like Perl is very desirable
= Experience with Oracle database backend desirable = Experience in Oracle database administration is desirable
